Appetite

So Eric and I laugh about our parenting pretty much on a daily basis. Sometimes we think we forget to feed Logan. There are times when he just isnt hungry. And then there are times when he tries to eat us. Poor baby. Yesterday he had a monsterous appetite. He ate some turkey and vegetable microwave type thing. And he had some chicken nuggets. He is definitely in the phase where if we are eating, then he wants to eat also.

Saturday we went to noodles and company. He had Macaroni and cheese and meatballs. He ate one meatball and lots of noodles. Eric is concerned that he eats too much cheese and not enough vegetables. So yet another thing we need to get on.

All in all he is great. He is teething something fierce. He has his two tops and bottoms in. However there is now a tooth popping in on either side of those. So thats 4 new ones threatening to come in. Poor baby. I hope it goes fast. He does not like it.

We just bought him some Nike tennis shoes at Stride Rite this weekend. She tells me he is in a size 6. I say BS. I have size 5's that are huge on him. Either way we got the size 6 so that he could grow in to them. He hates shoes. Kicks them off every time he puts them on. But oh well. We have to start making him wear them. He is like me...my sister calls me a hillbilly. I hate wearing shoes.

He is still able to wear 12 month clothing. Not even close to wearing 18 month clothing. He still can fit in some 9 months...unless too short. He is pretty long. So it depends on the clothing. He is full time Whole milk at this point. And we are getting better at only giving him a bottle at night. Sippy cup is our main method of drinking. He likes to feed himself too. And he is very big in to hitting and biting. AWESOME!!! hahah We are finding our way. We are not sure if we need to be stern or ignore. I am leaning towards kicking out of the house as he almost bit my finger off yesterday. We will see.

All in all he is awesome. We have so much fun with him. Eric and I will stare at him and marvel at this little human who is playing in the living room. Like who is that??? And we laugh when he gets on and off his zebra bike that Michelle bought him. I'm like seriously? You can do that?

He repeats everything we say. And although he doesnt say it clearly, he sounds it out. Its pretty neat. He likes to say no back to me after I say no to him. So we are using other words now. And he has the cutest feet ever!.

Oh and he now flips around in bed all night long sometimes and most times ending upside down. He is like me!
