Saturday April 24, 2010....
This was the day we had to head down to Bellville to see Christy. She was due to take Logans 3month pictures. Which Eric has constantly complained that they are more like 4 month pictures. I tell him, he doesnt have to have them on his actual 3rd month of life...but whatever.
Before we got to Christys we went to the Cracker Barrel for Breakfast. So delicious. And Logan was such a good boy!
OMG...I could just die when I look at this sweet baby that I have been given. Oh man do I think he is beautiful.
In any case, we were there for about 3 hours. Then we made plans to meet up with Erics brother and Ericka. We took a little trip to J.Alexanders. Remember this name baby because it rocked. I was in the mood for steak over pasta....which is a rare day. And because my fave Italian restaurant was super booked it just made sense. I had the worlds greatest steak. And I am not even remotely close to exaggerating. Let me tell you. I had a 12oz Ribeye. It was marinated for 3 days. It was marinated in Honey and brownsugar glaze. Holy Hell it was awesome. Then Marc reccomended the Mac and Cheese. Its almost insulting to call it that. As it was a very adult version, that tasted a bit like you would think Heaven would taste like. I cant even begin to make you understand its goodness. Eric had the prime rib which he said melted in his mouth. Marc had a New York strip that he said was great. Ericka had the BBQ Ribs that she said were the best she ever had in her life. And Michelle ate what I ate. Which you all know is usually the case we are that much alike. And I had my first drink in about a year. If I did the math, it might even be over a year. But who's counting. haha It was a mojito. Oh yeah. And the night I got pregnant with Logan I drank a mojito. So I suppose it is fitting. And Marc was in his I am buying drinks mode. But I couldnt do it. One was too much. haha Some day my tollerance will increase. But why push it. It was a great one though.
All in all it was so super good. And of course we stayed at Marcs house for the night. Logans first overnight with Uncle Marc. I think he enjoyed it quite a bit.
April 25, 2010...
We got up and head out to this little breakfast diner place Marc goes to quite a bit. YOu all know I dont do diners. But I wasnt in the mood to decide to go somewhere else. And honestly Marc has good taste, so I went with it. It was super good. And it was super cheap. And my weekend consisted of eating everything in sight. Which is awesome since it is week 2 of Weight Watchers. There goes the 4 pounds I lost. hahah Well worth it. And you can take that to the bank.
Then we made a pit stop out to Buy Buy Baby. The Bed Bath and Beyond version of baby world. Super cute things. And had it been another week....I may have spent my entire check. But we just got what we needed. Plus Eric found the play mat for Logan that he really wanted. Which means we can returns moms to her house.
Then homeward bound we were. Lazy sunday night but no....did I mention we ate all weekend? Well we had to have dinner naturally. So us and mom and dad and rick and julie headed to Applebees. Good lord, can you picture my bank account? haha Then off to bed we went. It was a good weekend. And now its time to chill out and take a break. ...until next week of course. haha
